| Role | The Sponsorship Committee program is a sub-committee of MYAC that is chaired by the Director of Finance. This committee will be responsible for going around to different businesses across the City of Mississauga and asking for sponsorships. Through the dedication, persistence, and hard work, the Sponsorship Committee will enable MYAC and its sub-committees to effectively run events and other initiatives for the youths of Mississauga. |
| Responsibility | The Sponsorship Committee consists of 20 members, five teams of four, and is selected by the Director of Finance. Each team will be responsible for going to businesses across Mississauga and asking for sponsorships. The committee will also be responsible for any fundraising events that MYAC plans. |

This program is rich in providing Sponsorship Committee member with an excellent opportunity to gain valuable skills including leadership, communication, teamwork, marketing, confidence, and decision-making.

| Commitment Expectations |
1. Attend monthly meetings 2. Attend Sponsorship Committee meetings scheduled by the Director of Finance 3. Respect any commitments they make to Student Ambassador colleagues and MYAC 4. Average 5 - 10 hours per month of activity (according to their schedule) |
