Chairperson, Nasreen Mody

Hello MYAC Members! My name is Nasreen Mody and I will be your Chairperson for the 2011-2012 term! As Chairperson for this year, I would to love to see our Committee engage interest from youth across Mississauga and so invoke the ideas we each value. By doing so, as the young generation and as the Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee, we can encompass all the different ideals held by our city's youth. As a member of MYAC, I encourage you to share your ideas, build and create, so together we can make this vision, reality.

Vice Chairperson, Kevin Micheal

I hope you're ready for a great term MYAC members! My name is Kevin Michael and I will be your Vice-Chairperson for MYAC's 2011-2012 term. I am currently a Grade 11 student attending St. Francis Xavier Secondary School. I play guitar, love singing (in the shower), and really like meeting new people. I am very excited to start the new term and I look forward to an amazing time. See you at the General Meetings!

Director of Government Relations, Zeeshan Mahmood

Hello Ladies and Gents! My name is Zeeshan Mahmood, and I will be your Director of Government Relations for the 2011-2012 year! I am a grade 12 student at Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School. I'm extremely excited for the start of the new term! Throughout all this year, I aim to ensure that everyone enjoys each and every meeting as much as i do. I am extremely excited for this term, and hope to see you all at our monthly general meetings!

Director of Finance, Ernest Chan

Hey everybody! I am Ernest Chan, grade 12 student from Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School and I am your Director of Finance for the 2011-2012 year. In a nutshell, I will be responsible for all of MYAC's monetary transaction that will happen in my term as well as head any fundraising and sponsorship initiatives. I am really excited for the new term, meeting you all, and making this year a one to be remembered!

Director of Communications, Priya Murali

Hey there MYAC members! I'm Priya Murali, your Director of Communications for the 2011-2012 term. I know that this term is going to be a fantastic one, and cannot wait to see all of you at our meetings! MYAC has always been an amazing experience for me, and it is my goal for this term to make it equally enjoyable for you, too! Director of Membership Affairs, Utsav Saha

An aspiring young grade 12 student, Utsav one day hopes to make a difference in Mississauga. He has volunteered all over the city, and has gotten involved in many community projects. Utsav is proud to give back to a city that has already given him so much. Currently attending Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School, he is a part of many clubs and teams in the school. Utsav enjoys reading and playing sports, such as soccer. As the Director of Membership Affairs, Utsav's goal is for the members of MYAC to have an incredible experience this year. He has high hopes for the year, and is going to keep trying until his goals are met.

Director of Community Projects, Ajona Asokumar

Ajona is a 17 year old student at The Woodlands Secondary School, who strongly believes in the youth of her community and their potential. She became a part of MYAC to act based on this belief. As Director of Community Projects she is in charge of Park Clean-Ups, volunteer fairs and works as the link between students and the community. In spare time Ajona enjoys spending time with her friends and family, listening to music and reading a thought-provoking book. Her goal in life is to somehow make it into a history textbook or to save a life. Ajona's mottos are to "keep your head in the game" and "it's now or never".
